The North Andover Booster Club Little League (NABCLL) is pleased to announce and invite you to participate in the Fred Soucy Minor League Division Invitational Baseball Tournament. This is our 6th Annual Tournament!!
WHAT-This is strictly a Minors Tournament. Note: Majors and District Players are not eligible to play in this Tournament.
WHEN-The Tournament will start on Monday, July 18, 2011, and end on Sunday, July 31, 2011.

FORMAT-The Tournament will have two (2) divisions. There will be an 8-9 division and a 10-12 division.
Within each of these two divisions, there will be two (2) separate brackets. It is our goal to ensure appropriate competition levels in each of the two separate brackets in the two divisions. Thus, the 8-9 division will have A and B brackets, with the A bracket consisting of teams with more skilled players in this age group, and the B bracket consisting of teams with players who may benefit from less intense competition. The 10-12 division will also have A and B brackets, with the A bracket consisting of teams with more skilled players in this age group, and the B bracket consisting of teams with players who may benefit from less intense competition.
Each team entering the Tournament will be guaranteed at least four (4) games prior to the playoffs. There will be a playoff format which will consist of the top two (2) teams in each bracket playing in a championship game, with a possibility of semi-final games in the larger divisions of play.
We need your assistance in indicating which bracket is most appropriate for any team which you enter in the Tournament. The ultimate goal of the NABCLL Tournament is to provide an enjoyable, enriching and fun baseball playing experience, with emphasis on good and fair competition and the highest level of sportsmanship for all of the participating teams, players, managers, coaches, parents and spectators involved.
PROOF OF AGE-All teams entered in the Tournament shall provide a copy of the original Birth Certificate for each player listed on its Team Roster upon request. NABCLL reserves the right to request a certified copy of the original Birth Certificate of any player participating in the Tournament.
RULES-The NABCLL Tournament will follow the 2011 Little League Green Book Rules. All pitching by players in the tournament must strictly adhere to the Pitch Count requirements set forth in the 2011 Little League Green Book with respect to number of days rest based on number of pitches thrown in any given game. Pitch counts must be provided by each team after each game. More detailed Rules will be provided once you submit your Application, Team Roster and Tournament Fee.
FEE-The cost for the Tournament is $350.00 per team. The Tournament Fee should be made payable to NABCLL. (We are not increasing the fee again this year given general economic concerns which people are experiencing).
FEE DUE DATE-The Tournament Fee is due by July 1, 2011.
TOURNAMENT APPLICATION AND TEAM ROSTERS-The attached Tournament Application and Team Roster must be completed and submitted to David A. White, NABCLL Player Agent and Minor League Division Tournament Director, along with the Tournament Fee, by July 1, 2011, at the following address:
